Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team at a leading construction firm with over 500 employees. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement electrical systems for a wide range of commercial and residential projects, ensuring that all work adheres to safety standards and project specifications.RESPONSIBILITIESDesign and develop electrical systems and components for construction projects.Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate new technologies to enhance project efficiencies.Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and drawings.Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure electrical plans align with project goals.Conduct site inspections and supervise the installation of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety and design standards.Provide technical support and troubleshooting for electrical equipment during the construction phase.Perform load calculations, voltage drop calculations, and other essential engineering calculations.Ensure all engineering practices comply with local, state, and national electrical codes.REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer in the construction industry, with at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience.Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuit design, and power distribution.Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering design tools such as Revit.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
