Team members collaborate across disciplines to deliver reliable, efficient, and safe project outcomes.Role Description The Electrical Section Head Site Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, responsible for leading and supervising electrical works on construction projects. This role oversees day-to-day site activities, including planning, allocating tasks to site teams, and monitoring progress to ensure work is executed according to design, specifications, and project schedules. The Electrical Section Head Site Engineer coordinates closely with civil and structural teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues and maintain smooth workflow on site. The role includes implementing and monitoring quality control procedures, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and reviewing drawings, method statements, and material submittals. The engineer prepares daily and weekly site reports, participates in site meetings, and supports project management in cost control, resource planning, and risk mitigation.QualificationsProven on-site experience managing electrical works, with strong skills in site supervision, coordination, and field problem-solving.Ability to collaborate effectively with Civil Engineers and Structural Engineering teams to ensure proper integration of electrical systems with overall project designs.Strong Quality Control mindset, including experience in inspections, testing, and compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.Effective Communication skills for interacting with project stakeholders, preparing clear reports, and supporting meetings and client/consultant interactions.Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.Solid understanding of electromechanical systems in building and infrastructure projects, including installation, commissioning, and maintenance principles.Familiarity with construction drawings, shop drawings, and design documents; ability to identify and address discrepancies on site.Competence with relevant engineering and office software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office; exposure to project management tools is an advantage).Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple site priorities under time constraints.Experience in Egyptian building codes, safety regulations, and local authority requirements is preferred.
