The individual in this role will monitor, collect, and analyze English-language news and information related to global supply chains, manufacturing, compliance, and market developments. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing multiple news sources, verifying information accuracy, summarizing key findings, and preparing concise reports that support internal teams and platform insights. The role also involves identifying emerging trends, assessing potential risks, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure timely dissemination of relevant updates to stakeholders. The analyst is expected to maintain high editorial standards, follow internal guidelines, and contribute to continuous improvement of research and reporting processes.QualificationsStrong skills in English reading, writing, and comprehension, with the ability to summarize complex information clearly and accurately.Experience in news analysis, research, or data gathering, preferably related to economics, supply chains, technology, or global markets.Ability to critically evaluate sources, fact-check content, and maintain high standards of accuracy and objectivity.Proficiency with online research tools, databases, and news monitoring platforms; strong general digital literacy.Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with capacity to handle multiple information streams and meet deadlines.Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Economics, International Relations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and comfort working with structured and unstructured data.Ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse, cross-functional team and communicate insights clearly to non-specialist audiences.Familiarity with supply chain, manufacturing, or compliance topics is an advantage.Willingness to work on-site in Cairo, Egypt and adhere to company policies and guidelines.
