Team members are expected to collaborate closely to create a positive and engaging learning experience.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site English Teacher role based at The Royal College International School campus in Cairo, Egypt. The English Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons in English language and literature, aligned with the school’s curriculum and learning outcomes. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and teaching materials, delivering instruction to different age groups and ability levels, and assessing student progress through classwork, homework, and formal evaluations. The teacher will provide constructive feedback, maintain accurate records, manage classroom behavior, and create a safe, inclusive learning environment. The role also involves communicating regularly with parents and guardians, collaborating with colleagues on curriculum development and school initiatives, and participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.Qualifications Strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with experience delivering engaging and effective lessons to diverse learners.Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Education practices, including curriculum alignment, learning objectives, and assessment strategies.Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, for interaction with students, families, and colleagues.Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field; relevant teaching certification or license is strongly preferred.Prior experience teaching English in an international or bilingual school setting is an advantage.Ability to use educational technology and digital tools to support teaching and learning.Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, learner-centered teaching and continuous professional growth.
