In this role, you will play a key part in designing, implementing, and supporting Atlassian solutions primarily Jira, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Confluence with a strong focus on ITSM implementations, automation, and cloud transformation.You will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and business‑aligned Atlassian solutions. The role sits within the Cloud Service Delivery function, based in Cairo, collaborating with delivery teams and client transformation programs across the PwC Global Network, including Germany UK and the Netherlands.Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Atlassian Engineer, you will:Design, implement, and support Atlassian Cloud and Data Center solutions, with a strong emphasis on Jira Service Management (ITSM) use casesLead and contribute to ITSM implementations in JSM, including incident, problem, change, request, and asset managementConfigure and manage Jira projects and workflowsManage and optimize Confluence spaces, templates, permissions, and knowledge‑base structuresImplement and maintain Assets / Insight (CMDB) configurations and integrationsDevelop and maintain automations, scripts, and API‑based integrations with third‑party systemsPerform and support large‑scale cloud migrations for Jira and Confluence, including pre‑migration assessments and post‑migration optimizationTroubleshoot complex technical issues related to performance, security, integrations, and user experienceSupport daily operational tickets and service requests, ensuring adherence to best practices and Atlassian standardsCollaborate closely with other engineers, developers, architects, and project managers across global teamsContribute to continuous improvement, documentation, and knowledge sharing within the Atlassian practiceRequired Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field2+ years of experience in application technical support, Atlassian administration, or Atlassian development (additional experience expected for Senior Associates)Strong hands‑on experience with Jira, Jira Service Management, and ConfluenceProven experience implementing ITSM solutions in JSMExperience working with Assets / Insight, APIs, and advanced automationsHands‑on experience with cloud migrations, including DC‑to‑Cloud and Cloud‑to‑CloudExperience with Atlassian REST APIs, Forge, and scripting/automation toolsSolid understanding of IT service management (ITIL concepts) and Agile methodologiesStrong communication, stakeholder‑management, and problem‑solving skillsProfessional proficiency in EnglishDesirable QualificationsAtlassian Certification, such as:ACP‑620 (Managing Jira Cloud Projects)ACP‑120 (Atlassian Certified Professional: Jira Administration for Cloud)Experience working in large enterprise or global delivery environmentsExposure to enterprise integrations, reporting, and governance modelsExperience with Atlassian Marketplace apps and plugin developmentAt PwC, The skills we look for in future employees.
