The opportunityHow You’ll Make An ImpactCustomer Engagement: Engage with potential clients to assess their technical requirements and identify customer challenges and architect innovative solutions that utilize today’s technology to solve tomorrow’s problems.Technical Expertise: Develop an in-depth understanding of the company's products and services and stay up to date with industry trends and technologies, including substation automation, protection, and cyber security, etc.Solution Development: Collaborate with the sales, product, and business development teams to tailor solutions to meet customer needs and challenges.Solution Presentations: Create and deliver compelling technical presentations, demonstrations, and proposals that showcase the value of the company's offerings.Technical Support: Act as the technical subject matter, providing pre-sales and operational support, addressing customer inquiries, answering product inquiries, and training different stakeholders as needed.Solution validation and PoC: Prepare and execute PoCs, validating the effectiveness of the proposed solutions, and carrying out further site testing, QC, FAT, and commissioning, whenever required, while coordinating with vendors and stakeholders.In his technical capacity, he shall be able to extend responsibility for SAS projects from conceptual design through testing and final delivery, and represent the company in customer and project meetings, providing technical presentations and supporting proposals when required.Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about competitors' offerings and market trends to effectively position the company's products or services.Living Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.Your backgroundBachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Power Systems, Automation, or a related field.6–8 years of experience as a SAS engineer with proven design, engineering, and testing expertise.Familiarity with sales processes and the ability to work collaboratively with sales and BD teams.Strong command of communication and persuasion skills with a business and customer-focused mindset.Extensive knowledge of MicroSCADA, RTU560 series, and IEDs (e.g., REx670).Extensive knowledge of substation automation and industrial protocols such as IEC 101, IEC 104, IEC 61850, Modbus, LON, SPA, etc.Familiar with OT cybersecurity practices, frameworks, local and international regulations, and IEC 62443, along with CS products such as Firewall, NIDS, etc.Experience in designing SAS solutions with previous engineering experience in designing, integration, FAT, testing, and site support.Familiar with technical documentation, including proposals, case studies, technical specifications, architecture, FDS, I/O lists, and panel drawings, and capable of preparing any of them as needed.Willingness to travel.Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and challenges.Proficiency in both spoken & written English is required.Publication date : 2026-06-27
