The role focuses on developing export markets, managing international buyers, ensuring compliance with destination market standards (EU, GCC, UK, Asia, etc.), and coordinating closely with farms, packing stations, logistics providers, and internal teams to deliver high‑quality produce on time and in full.This role plays a critical part in maximizing export revenue, maintaining Egypt’s competitive position in global fresh produce markets, and ensuring customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities1. Export Sales & Market DevelopmentDevelop and implement export sales strategies for Egyptian fruits and vegetables.Manage and grow existing international customer accounts while opening new markets.Identify opportunities in key export regions including but not limited to EU, UK, Eastern Europe and Africa.Negotiate sales contracts, prices, volumes, Incoterms, and payment terms.Monitor global market trends, seasonal demand, and competitor activity related to Egyptian produce.Achieve export sales targets and profitability objectives.Market Expansion: Identify new international market opportunities and contribute to initiatives aimed at expanding the company’s product presence across global markets.Product Knowledge & Positioning: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company’s product offerings (industrial tools, small equipment, etc.), enabling effective communication of product value to international clients.Market Intelligence & Research: Conduct regular research to understand market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape, and provide actionable insights to guide sales strategies.2. Customer Relationship ManagementCustomer Relationship Management: Foster and maintain strong relationship with key international customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.B2B Sales Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and key business partners, driving consistent sales growth through successful channel sales.Dealer & Channel Network Development: Support the expansion of the dealer and distributor network, helping partners achieve sales targets and align with company standards.International Travel & Client Interaction: Travel abroad for client meetings, business development, and to build strong, lasting relationships with international distributors and customers.Act as the main point of contact for international buyers, importers, and distributors.Handle inquiries, orders, claims, and customer feedback professionally.Ensure customer requirements related to quality, size, variety, packaging, labeling, and delivery are met.Build long‑term relationships based on trust, consistency, and performance.3. Export Operations & ComplianceOversee end‑to‑end export processes including sales confirmations, export documentation shipment planning and follow‑upEnsure compliance with: Phytosanitary regulations, Global G.A.P., GRASP, SMETA, Organic, or other certifications (as applicable) and Destination country import regulationsCoordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs agents, and inspection authorities.Manage Letters of Credit (LCs), collection terms, and export documentation accuracy.Manage Surveyor quality report making sure it is compliant and matching with the required quality standards.4. Coordination with Production, Quality and other TeamsCoordinate export demand with farms, packhouses, and production planning.Ensure exported products meet international quality standards and buyer specifications.Work closely with Quality Control to resolve any quality or compliance issues before shipment.Align harvest timing and packing schedules with export programs.Collaboration with Internal Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, logistics, product development) to ensure the successful execution of export sales strategies.5. Forecasting, Planning & Reporting· Prepare export sales forecasts aligned with Egypt’s harvest seasons and export windows. Provide regular reports on: sales performance, market feedback, shipment status, customer profitability· Support management with pricing strategies and seasonal planning.6. Commercial & Risk ManagementSupport finance in collection follow‑ups and payment risk assessment.Ensure adherence to approved credit limits and payment terms.Resolve disputes, claims, or rejections efficiently and professionally.Qualifications & ExperienceEducationBachelor’s degree in agriculture, agribusiness, Business administration, International Trade, or a related field.Additional training or certification in export management is an advantage.Experience: 8–10 years of experience in export sales of fresh fruits and vegetables, preferably from Egypt.Proven experience exporting Egyptian produce to international markets.Strong knowledge of perishables supplies chain and seasonal agriculture production.Hands‑on experience with export documentation, Incoterms, and international trade terms.Skills & CompetenciesSelf-Starter & Goal-Oriented: A proactive, target-driven approach to sales with the ability to work independently while collaborating with global teams.Strong negotiation and commercial skillsExcellent communication and relationship‑building abilities, capable of presenting product benefits and negotiating terms with international clientsExcellent Problem solving and crisis managementKnowledge of EU and other international markets requirements for Egyptian produceAbility to manage multiple shipments under tight deadlinesAnalytical mindset with strong forecasting skillsAttention to detail and problem‑solving abilityFluency in English is required (additional languages such as French, German, or Spanish are a plus)Function with AI tools
