Occupation DescriptionThe Facility Management Director gives primary oversight and direction for City Edge’s Facilities and Physical Security operations for all sites, including ensuring management and execution of hard and soft services and projects are provided in accordance with operational and financial targets. He/she will drive continuous improvement across all responsibilities, and all assigned sites, develop and strengthen relationships with customers to ensure facilities needs are understood and met in the most effective and efficient manner, and also develop and lead the facilities team to ensure full engagement and provide consistent, predictable results for business operations.Job ScopeOperations:Secure the functionality of the business to drive extensive and sustainable growth.Manage KPI's and SLA's with a focus on optimizing service delivery and attention to the improvement of processes, systems, tools and equipment.Establish operational policies that promote engagement, company culture and visionOversee operations of the company working with Senior Management from other contracts and departmentsDesign the implementation of efficient operation solutions based on pioneering technology.Oversee financial and technical matters with a focus on the performance of services delivered.Draft and submit Financial Budgets for each tradeFocus on the customers and their stakeholders to deliver exceptional service, add solutions and identify innovative added value business opportunities that complement the services already being delivered.Support the preparation of new opportunities by reviewing the organization's structure, technical specifications, and financial parameters Ensure contract compliance with the company's policies and regulations on Quality, Environment and Health & SafetyReview & approve OPEX & CAPEX budgets in accordance with the operations requirementMonitor & continuously conduct operational audits to ensure achieving the strategic approaches.Contract Management:Establish and maintain SLAs and KPIs of the outsourced contractors and monitor department heads tracking for the performance levels of the contractor by routinely assessing performance against a checklist, identifying defaults or shortcomings in service levels, and based on same preparing necessary action proposals.Establish a cut-off date to start contract renewal, monitor scope with department heads, and procurement negotiations with vendors with oversight on budget parameters.Review tenders/benchmarking and comparative statements.Staff Management & Service Standards:Manage the overall performance of the Operations team, provide leadership, develop and implement operational strategies & increase organizational effectiveness by ensuring the growth and development of all employees. Develop direct reports to ensure succession plans to support future company requirements and employee career objectives.Monitor Daily Reports and flag issues to department heads where necessary and customize solutions to repetitive challenges.Reporting: Prepare routine and ad hoc reports, to keep the management informed about all issues relating to the operations and take necessary action. Education and Most Common Work Experience RequestedBachelor’s Degree in Engineering.MBA or CFM is a plus.20+ years’ of related experience of which a minimum of 3-6 years should be in a similar position responsibility, similar industry is a must.
