Role OverviewAs the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic leadership and operational oversight of the maintenance department within our Borg El Arab facility. In a "Big Medical" environment, your primary mission is to ensure 100% equipment reliability and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).You will lead a multidisciplinary team of technicians, managing everything from high-tech PLC-controlled production lines to complex facility utilities and cleanroom environments.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership:Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy (Preventative, Predictive, and Corrective).Manage the annual maintenance budget, focusing on cost-optimization and ROI for machinery upgrades.Operational Excellence:Oversee the maintenance of specialized equipment such as Air Compressors ,CNC machines, and Clean-room HVAC systems.Oversee the systematic process of inspecting, servicing, and repairing machinery and equipment. It involves tracking performance, applying proper lubrication, and replacing worn components to extend equipment lifespan, maximize efficiency, and prevent unexpected breakdowns.Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major equipment failures to prevent recurrence.Optimize the Maintenance Management System for data-driven decision-making.Compliance & Quality Assurance:Ensure all maintenance activities are fully documented and "audit-ready" for international regulators (CE, ISO).Manage the Calibration Program for all measurement and testing equipment to ensure medical-grade precision.Team Management:Lead, mentor, and evaluate the Maintenance team.Identify training gaps and implement technical development programs.Facility & Utility Management:Ensure the continuous operation of plant utilities: Air compressors, water treatment (DI/RO), and power substations.Maintain strict cleanroom standards (ISO Class 7/8) through rigorous HVAC and filtration maintenance. Technical RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering. .Experience: * 10+ years of experience in industrial maintenance.At least 3-5 years in a Managerial or Supervisory role.Technical Skills:Deep understanding of PLC systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical distribution.Candidate ProfileMindset: A "Zero-Downtime" philosophy and a commitment to patient safety.Language: Native Arabic and Fluent Professional English (essential for reporting to global headquarters or auditors).Location: Ideally based in Alexandria or Borg El Arab.
