Our customers use our tools to push the boundaries of technology and physics to deliver better products in the increasingly complex world of chip, board, and system design.Position OverviewThis Field Application Engineer role supports business growth within an assigned product area or account base through learning-driven customer engagement and the development of technical execution skills. You'll focus on assisting with the technical aspects of sales campaigns, supporting customer evaluations and deployments, and building foundational capabilities through close collaboration with sales, product, and support teams. Working with international customers based in the US, you'll develop the skills needed to support technical initiatives and customer success under the guidance of experienced team members, building relationships with customer stakeholders and contributing to meaningful technical outcomes.Key Responsibilities: Build relationships with customer stakeholders at the individual contributor level under guidance. Support technical discovery by gathering information on customer requirements, design flows, and challenges. Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations with mentorship and peer support. Support the technical aspects of sales campaigns, including evaluations, pilot projects, and solution positioning. Collaborate with Account Technology Managers, Technical Account Managers, Account Managers, and Field Application Engineers to support the execution of engagement plans. Assist in executing technical benchmarks, evaluations, and pilot deployments. Contribute to product adoption efforts through workflow support and routine tool configuration. Document and share customer insights, including technical requirements, evaluation outcomes, and competitive observations. Support customers during issue resolution by coordinating with Support Application Engineers when appropriate. Participate in training programs to develop knowledge of Siemens EDA solutions, competitive technologies, and go-to-market strategies. Shadow and learn from experienced team members to develop skills in customer engagement, discovery, and solution positioning.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 3+ years of relevant work experience. Hands-on experience with verification methodologies such as UVM, assertion-based verification, and functional coverage. Proficiency in verification technologies, including simulation, formal verification, and/or emulation and prototyping. Strong understanding of digital design flows and HDL languages (SystemVerilog, Verilog, and VHDL). Scripting experience with Python, Shell, and/or Perl. Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly present technical concepts to peers and customers. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a learning environment. Willingness to learn customer business processes and develop an understanding of solution positioning. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment and contribute to shared objectives. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
