On behalfr of our multinational client; RiseUP Group is seeking to hire a Field Engineer.Job summary:This position’s primary focus is to provide technical support to UAE | KSA | North Africa, the sales and service teams, and its end users to facilitate growth of sales and targeted product initiatives, market segments, and key customers. In addition, the Field Engineer will assist in developing fluid handling solutions to specific customer needs and specifications. The Field Engineer will assist sales and customers with our product selection, fabrication discovery, and initiating growth opportunities. The Field Engineer will support Custom Solutions operations through P&ID development, BOM development and technical support. Lastly, the FE will collaborate with our Field Engineering and a network of FE peers on best practices and assigned project work. Other duties consistent with the role, as assigned.Job Responsibilities:Drive sales of targeted products and servicesAct as technical representative in support of existing installations and product returnsPerform evaluations of customer fluid systems to identify areas of improvement, drive plant efficiencies, and offer possible solutions via formal reportsAssist customers in product support engineering work where needed, including field adjustments, maintenance procedures, troubleshooting, etc.Develop and deliver technical product presentations that directly address customer needs and emphasize the company's value propositionDiscover and develop fabrication opportunities including BOM generation and P&ID creationSelect and recommend products into specific customer applicationsProvide SSC training and technical support on products and applications Develop plans and implement activities to support the SSC operating and marketing business plansCollaborate with other field engineers on technical applications and solutionsIdentify the changing application needs for new products and existing products while providing feedback to the appropriate factory personnel on improvements to products or servicesProvide assistance on specific SSC and corporate marketing initiatives Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical degree program/industry experience1-3 years of experience preferred but not required.Complete Field Engineering Base Training Requirements per SI-00820 Field Engineering ProgramAbility to interpret and understand customer applications to develop P&ID and fluid schematicsSkills to solve complex problems and complete projects using problem solving methods to make sound engineering decisionsAbility to identify and assess new opportunities for the SSC, and work with customers as part of the sales or services processClear and effective communication skillsGood presentation skillsProficient in Microsoft business applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook) and use of various technical calculation softwareFamiliar with current engineering drawing platforms (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)Work Schedule: This is a full-time position, typically working 40 hours per week, 8 hours a day, Sunday through Thursday. This position is primarily remote, but occasional office visits and meetings are required.Work Environment: This position operates in a professional office environment.Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is required for this position. Access to reliable transportation is essential as this position requires travel to various locations across Egypt.Physical Requirements: Field engineers must be comfortable working on-site at various customer facilities, including oil and gas facilities such as refineries, tank farms, and petrochemical sites, as well as government and defense locations. This role often demands entry into sites requiring special credentials such as a valid Passport or a site gate pass. Field Engineers must be capable of adapting to diverse and potentially hazardous environments, always demonstrating a strong commitment to safety protocols. This includes working safely at heights, within confined spaces, and in areas where exposure to chemicals, high-pressure systems, or flammable materials may be present. A high level of situational awareness, compliance with site-specific safety regulations, and the physical and mental stamina to perform in challenging conditions are essential for success in this role. The ability to pass a Vision Acuity Examination is required. When applicable, the associate may be required to undergo drug testing prior to accessing certain customer sites, in compliance with client requirements or policies.Travel Requirements: Ability and desire to travel on the same day up to 75%, overnight up to 10%. Occasional travel to other company offices and sites is required.
