Manage staff induction and probation in line with BDO’s HR policies.Perform FAO team's appraisal and compensation proposal on an annual basis in accordance with the achieved targets.Ensure that all staff are aware of policies and procedures in place.Act as focal point for all initial queries from staff regarding policies and procedures.Monitor and evaluate compliance with applicable laws, rules, policies, and procedures.Develop and conduct training and staff development areas.Manage relations between the FAO department and other company departments.Attend the regular Management meetings and contribute to the advancement of the company as part of the management team.Contribute to regular reviews of FAO process, ensuring that policies remain in compliance with tax laws and Finance & accounting standards, and recommend updates where requiredPerform job analysis and determine critical competencies, core requirements, and essential job dutiesDevelop FAO policies and procedures revisions.Develop the processes of the Department to be more effective and decrease the processing time with higher accuracy.Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problemsAttend internal & external kickoff meetings and gather client requirements.Prepare the initial project plan.Launching the new FAO projects, translate the project analysis to action plan & define milestones of the project.Develop the Service Manual for each project.Follow up on the project plan implementation & sign off the blueprint.Attend regular follow-up review meetings with customers and implement any actions resulting from the meeting.Maintain high level of customer satisfaction. Performs any other duties or any tasks assigned to him by management.Provide all required Management reports.Follow the implemented ISO policies and proceduresAct as a remote CFO when required from clients  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting).• Minimum 12 years of experience in Finance & Accounting functions.• Excellent English writing and speaking skills.• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.• IFRS Certification is a plus.• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, MS Dynamics, and Comsys.
