Main ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day activities of the Accounting Department with strong focus on financial reporting accuracyPrepare, review, and analyze financial statements in compliance with DIFC regulationsLead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing, reconciliations, and reporting cyclesReview all journal entries and ensure proper posting within ERP systems (Oracle / SAP)Develop, review, and enhance financial and management reporting packages, including income statements, cash flow, bank position, and collection reportsEnsure consistency, accuracy, and integrity of financial data across ERP systemsReview issued invoices, related IIRs, and ensure proper system recordingReview and approve all documents prior to disbursementReview monthly VAT returns and prepare annual corporate income tax returnsMaintain and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controlsEnsure all transactions comply with GAAP and company accounting standardsAct as a key liaison between Finance and other business units to ensure proper utilization of ERP and financial dataSupport ERP-related improvements, reporting automation, and data optimization initiativesPrepare required financial data and documentation for audit firms, tax authorities, and governmental entitiesCoordinate quarterly and annual audits and ensure timely fulfillment of audit requirementsEnsure compliance with DIFC regulations and internal control standardsEducationJob Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldProfessional Experience16+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance in the IT industry, preferably within a managerial roleTechnical SkillsStrong expertise in financial reporting, analysis, and management reportingHands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle and/or SAPSolid understanding of DIFC regulations, VAT, and corporate income taxStrong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and audit processesAdvanced proficiency in ERP reporting tools and ExcelInterpersonal SkillsStrong leadership and team management skillsHigh attention to detail and analytical thinkingExcellent communication and business writing skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Apply Now
