About the job Finance Manager (Hybrid)Job Purpose:-Act as the bridge between day-to-day accounting operations and FP&A. Lead a small team of accountants, ensure accurate and timely financial records, support budgeting and forecasting processes, and prepare management reports that enable decision-making for Bayan-Tech's multi-brand, multi-country business. Key Accountabilities:-1. Operational Finance & ClosingSupervise daily accounting activities (GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliations, fixed assets)Ensure accurate and timely month-end closing (accruals, deferrals, provisions)Review and approve reconciliations and journal entries prepared by the teamMaintain proper documentation and internal control procedures2. FP&A SupportSupport the budget and forecast cycles with data collection, templates, and consolidationsPrepare and analyze monthly management reports, including KPIs, variances, and trendsAssist in building financial models for brands, services, and projectsWork with the Head of Finance on ad-hoc analysis and business cases3. Reporting & CompliancePrepare standard financial reports for management and stakeholdersAssist with tax-related data preparation (VAT, withholding, income tax)Support external and internal audits by providing documentation and explanations4. Systems & Process ImprovementHelp maintain and improve the ERP/finance systems setupPropose and implement process improvements to reduce errors and manual workContribute to automation of recurring reports (Excel/Sheets and BI tools)5. Team LeadershipSupervise 2–4 team members (accountants / junior accountants)Provide on-the-job training, guidance, and performance feedbackEnsure team adherence to deadlines and quality standardsRequirements:-Years of Experience: 6–10 years of experience in accounting/financeLeadership: At least 1–3 years in a senior accountant or team lead roleTechnical Skills: Solid experience with GL, AP, AR, reconciliations, and month-end closingFP&A Exposure: Exposure to planning, budgeting, or basic FP&A tasks (variance analysis, reporting)Company Background: Experience in small or medium-sized companies, preferably in services/tech/localization
