1) Financial Planning & Forecasting: ✓ Lead the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts for all commercial sectors. ✓ Partner closely with sector heads, commercial directors, and department managers to establish realistic financial targets, KPIs, and operational budgets. ✓ Build robust financial models to simulate market fluctuations, pricing adjustments, supply chain disruptions, and retail expansion risks. ✓ Review and analyse budget allocations for new projects, such as opening new Etisalat retail shops or expanding distribution networks. 2) Financial Analysis & Reporting: ✓ Variance Analysis: Perform monthly and quarterly Variance Analysis (Actual vs. Budget vs. Forecast), identifying gaps, analysing root causes, and recommending corrective measures to commercial leaders. ✓ Profitability Analysis: Evaluate the profitability of different sectors, product categories, dealer networks, and individual Etisalat retail shops. ✓ Sales & Margin Analysis: Monitor sales volumes, cost of goods sold (COGS), distributor margins, and commission structures to ensure optimal profit margins. ✓ Management Dashboards: Design and maintain interactive financial dashboards and reports to communicate commercial financial health to the board members.3) Strategic Business Partnering: ✓ Sector Performance Advisory: Serve as the financial advisor for each commercial sector portfolios, evaluating investment returns (ROI) on marketing spend, dealer incentives, and promotional campaigns. ✓ Market & Trend Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor benchmarks, and economic indicators within Egypt’s telecom, oil, and electrical sectors to identify growth opportunities. ✓ Process Improvement: Identify and implement processes to improve forecasting accuracy, cost control measures, and data retrieval efficiency across ERP systems. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. • Certification such as CMA, CFA, or MBA is highly preferred and considered a strong asset. • Minimum of 4–6 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Business Analyst, or FB&A Specialist. • Proven experience handling budgeting and forecasting for multi-unit, multi-sector, or distribution companies is highly required. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel & financial modelling. • Experience working with large-scale ERP systems. • Analytical Thinking: Exceptional ability to synthesize complex, high-volume data into clear strategic recommendations. • Communication: Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently present financial data to non-financial commercial managers. • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment managing multiple business lines. • Language: Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic.
