Elsharkawy Maritime & Logistics Co. also manages parcel clearance and delivery, in addition to bunkers and lubricants supply, serving as an integrated partner for shipping and logistics needs.Role Description The Financial Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Port Said, responsible for overseeing all financial operations of Elsharkawy Maritime & Logistics Co. This role includes leading financial planning and budgeting processes, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring efficient allocation of financial resources. The Financial Director prepares, reviews, and analyzes financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy, compliance with relevant regulations, and alignment with company policies. Daily tasks involve supervising the finance team, improving financial controls, supporting strategic decision-making with data-driven insights, and partnering with senior leadership on cost optimization and profitability initiatives. The role also involves managing relationships with banks, auditors, and external stakeholders, and contributing to long-term financial strategy and risk management for the company.QualificationsStrong foundation in Finance, with proven experience in corporate or maritime industry financial management.Strong foundation in Proforma Disbursement Account (PDA) calculation in all Egyptain Ports & Suez Canal Demonstrated expertise in Financial Planning and budgeting, including forecasting and resource allocation.Ability to prepare, interpret, and oversee Financial Statements and Financial Reporting in line with applicable standards.Advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data, assessing risk, and supporting strategic decisions.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) or MBA is an advantage.Experience leading finance teams, implementing internal controls, and improving financial processes.Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and tax regulations; familiarity with maritime or logistics sector financial practices is a plus.Proficiency in financial software systems, along with strong Excel skills.Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.Ability to work on-site in Port Said and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
