Fleet Transportation Specialist

The Fleet Transportation Specialist is responsible for coordinating daily transportation operations, managing fleet dispatch activities, and ensuring smooth execution of distribution plans. The role involves driver allocation, route scheduling, fleet maintenance coordination, and operational follow-up to ensure timely and efficient delivery execution.RESPONSIBILITIESExecute and monitor daily distribution plans in coordination with warehouse operations and planning team.Organize vehicle dispatch schedules based on priority and operational requirements.Assign drivers to outbound routes and ensure proper shift allocation.Ensure completion of pre-trip vehicle inspection checklists for all fleet units.Manage operational communication groups and ensure timely dissemination of instructions.Create and follow up on daily operational tasks and assignments.Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules with drivers and maintenance teams, ensuring service is performed before 300 km threshold.Develop and manage loading schedules and adjust driver timings based on operational needs.Handle Shipped and delayed ballets and ensure proper documentation approval with Warehouse team.Prepare and maintain daily routing plans and ensure execution compliance.Maintain accurate attendance, absence, and leave records in the system.Ensure full operational discipline and coordination to guarantee execution of daily plans.REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.1+ years of experience in logistics, fleet management, or related roles, preferably in the retail and wholesale trade industry.Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making.Proficient in logistics software and MS Office Suite, with experience in ERP systems preferred.Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
