This position is responsible for food safety management systems and regulatory compliance within the plant facility. Insures continuous and consistent program implementation and continuous improvement.Policies, Systems, Processes, & Procedures: Implement approved departmental policies, processes, procedures, and instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled mannerDay- to-day Operations: Supervises the day-to-day operations to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes, and proceduresJob Specific Accountabilities:Responsible for implementing Food Safety procedures and ensuring its effectivenessResponsible for planning all internal reviews for Food Safety systemsResponsible for solving all problems related to Food Safety to ensure its consistencySupport the organization in driving continuous improvement and a mature Food Safety focused culture throughout the manufacturing networkPlanning, development, and coordination of moderate to highly Food Safety related projects and improve the Food Safety focused culture in the factory.Helping with problem resolution and support at the different locations where Food Safety support is required.Oversee Food Safety Management Systems. Plan, coordinate, and direct all Food Safety, sanitation, regulatory and food safety programs within the establishment to ensure compliance with company, governmental and customer requirements and expectations.Acts as customer interface with plant to review safe product performance, respond to questions and complaints related to food safety, and work with operations to ensure customer expectations are met.Facilitates Food Safety improvement variation reduction and root cause determination.Monitor Food Safety regulatory activities and plant compliance with regulatory standardsDrive ASC to best practice sharing across International specifications to better meet Savola, regulatory and customer requirements whilst being cost effective and avoiding food safety incidents.Provide guidance and expertise/specialized knowledge of specific segments of the Food Safety systems and our processes to drive change and improve the local practices and bring them to a harmonized best practice levelContinuous Improvement: Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices considering ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvementSupport in developing a mature food safety culture by transferring experience and good practices to increase the ownership and awareness across functions on food safety.Collaborate with food safety other peers and their teams as well as other function team to improve the food safety culture in locationAssessing processes and systems, performing data analysis & trendingCoordinating Food Safety KPI’s reporting and tracking improvement and progress on the Food Safety initiatives.Reporting: Prepare reports timely and accurately to meet Savola and department requirements, policies, and standardsHealth, Safety, & Environment: Monitor the adherence to all relevant safety and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitudeRelated Assignments: Perform other related duties or assignments as directed Education: Bachelor’s degree in science or agriculture Language: English language good command speaking and writtenExperience: Min. 5 years of relevant experience in food manufacturing or food safety/quality Skills: Behavioral Planning & execution for resultsDynamic teambuilding for successProblem solving for powerful solutionsLeading for successProfessional CapabilityCommunicating with impactCustomer focusSavola Ethics & ValuesTechnical Knowledge of quality systemsKnowledge of food safety procedures/systemsKnowledge of food safety standardsKnowledge of relevant legislationKnowledge of auditing techniquesProduct & process knowledge
