Global communication capabilities and facilities support efficient, reliable logistics operations across international markets.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Freight Forwarder Supervisor role based in Damietta. The Freight Forwarder Supervisor will oversee end-to-end freight forwarding operations, ensuring timely, cost-effective movement of cargo by coordinating with carriers, agents, and internal teams. This role includes supervising export documentation, booking shipments, tracking freight, and resolving operational issues or delays. The supervisor will support customer service activities by responding to client inquiries, providing shipment visibility, and addressing service concerns. Daily responsibilities also include monitoring freight transportation performance, ensuring compliance with regulations and company procedures, mentoring team members, and preparing regular operational reports for management.Qualifications Strong freight forwarding and forwarding expertise, with experience managing end-to-end logistics operations.Proficiency in export operations, including documentation, customs coordination, and international shipping procedures.Solid customer service skills, with the ability to manage client expectations and provide timely shipment updates.Knowledge of freight transportation modes and practices, including coordination with carriers and logistics partners.Proven experience in a supervisory or lead role within logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding.Familiarity with logistics software, shipment tracking tools, and basic MS Office applications.Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.Ability to work on-site in Damietta and collaborate with cross-functional and international teams.Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
