We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Ledger Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing the general ledger, and supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes. This role plays a key part in ensuring the integrity of financial data and compliance with accounting standards. Key Responsibilities:Maintain and update the general ledger by recording all financial transactions accurately.Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.Prepare financial statements and reports in a timely and accurate manner.Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and investigate discrepancies.Prepare and review trial balances.Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis.Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum 3 years of experience in General Ledger Accounting.Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.Experience with ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle) is a plus.Advanced Excel skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
