🔹 Key Responsibilities:- Lead and supervise the General Ledger team, providing guidance and performance management.- Oversee all general ledger activities, including journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and reconciliations.- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing processes.- Maintain and enhance internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial data.- Coordinate with other accounting functions (AP, AR, and Treasury) to ensure proper recording of transactions.- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.- Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations.- Continuously improve accounting processes and systems for better efficiency and accuracy.🔹 Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional accounting certificate is a plus.- 7+ years of experience in general ledger accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems; Odoo ERP user is preferred.- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, IFRS, and closing processes.- Excellent leadership and team management skills.- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
