Position SummaryThe Head of Global Finance / Global Finance Manager serves as the strategic finance leader responsible for driving the financial performance, governance, and long-term financial strategy across the company's global operations. The role oversees finance teams and activities across Germany, the USA, Mexico, Spain, and Portugal, ensuring financial excellence, standardisation, and alignment with corporate objectives.This position leads digital finance transformation initiatives, leveraging AI-driven analytics and establishing best-in-class financial processes that support growth, operational efficiency, and informed decision-making. The role acts as a trusted advisor to the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors.2. Key Responsibilities• Lead and oversee all finance activities across global entities and ensure alignment with corporate objectives and financial targets.• Develop and execute the global financial strategy supporting business growth and profitability.• Drive financial governance and standardise financial processes, policies, and controls across all countries.• Lead annual budgeting, strategic planning, forecasting, and long-range financial modeling.• Oversee global financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.• Monitor financial and operational KPIs, identifying risks and opportunities to improve profitability and cash generation.• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and consolidation in accordance with IFRS and local statutory requirements.• Manage external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and regulatory authorities.• Lead global cash flow planning, liquidity management, and working capital optimisation.• Partner with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team on strategic initiatives, investments, and expansion opportunities.• Lead finance transformation initiatives, ERP optimisation, and AI-powered analytics and automation.• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing global finance team across multiple countries and cultures. Required Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.• MBA or Master's degree is preferred.• CPA, CMA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification is mandatory.• Minimum 12–15 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 7 years in a senior leadership role.• Extensive experience managing global finance operations and international teams.• Significant experience within multinational manufacturing, industrial, automotive, FMCG, or heavy industry environments.• Fluent English is mandatory; additional European languages are an advantage.Technical Competencies• Financial Strategy and Business Partnering.• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).• Treasury and Cash Flow Management.• IFRS and International Financial Reporting.• Consolidation of Multi-Country Entities.• Internal Controls, Audit Management, and Transfer Pricing.• Advanced ERP expertise (Odoo experience is highly preferred).• Strong knowledge of BI and analytics tools.• Experience with finance automation and digital transformation projects.• Practical experience using AI-based analysis tools, predictive analytics, and automated reporting solutions.• Strategic Thinking, Cross-Cultural Leadership, Change Management, and Team Development.
