Job Purpose:The role aims to minimize regulatory risks, support business continuity, and enhance the company’s positioning with governmental authorities. To develop and manage the organization’s relationships with government entities, ensuring full regulatory compliance, facilitating approvals, and representing the company’s interests in alignment with laws and public policies.Job Responsibilities:Build and maintain strong relationships with Government authorities, Regulatory agencies & Municipal and public sector entities.Ensure the company complies with all applicable laws and regulations.Monitor changes in government policies and assess their impact.Advise internal stakeholders on compliance requirements.Oversee the process of obtaining operational licenses, construction permits & Government approvals.Identify regulatory risks and propose mitigation strategies.Support crisis management related to governmental issues.Align company practices with national regulations and policies.Maintain records of all government interactions and approvalsPrepare reports on compliance status and regulatory updatesJob Requirements:Bachelor`s degree of Business Administration or any relevant field.10+ years of experience in Real Estate Developer or Construction field.Experience in issuing construction licenses.Dealing with all governmental authorities such as: New Urban Communities Authority, New Cities Institutes.Deep knowledge of building code, investment laws, urban community regulations (e.g. NUCA in Egypt) and real estate registration laws.Extensive experience in obtaining building permits, certificates of validity, excavation permits, and civil defense (fie & safety) and environmental approvals.Proficiency in using digital government platforms (e-portals for licensing) which have become the standard for processing official transactions.
