Head Nurse – ICU

Clinical LeadershipSupervise all nursing activities داخل وحدة العناية المركزة.Ensure high standards of patient care and safety.Monitor compliance with infection control and ICU protocols.Coordinate patient care plans with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.Handle critical situations and support staff during emergencies.Staff ManagementPrepare and manage nursing schedules and shift coverage.Monitor staffing levels according to occupancy and patient acuity.Evaluate nursing staff performance and conduct regular assessments.Support recruitment, orientation, and onboarding of ICU nurses.Address staff concerns and maintain team discipline.Quality & ComplianceEnsure compliance with hospital policies and accreditation standards.Monitor medication administration and documentation accuracy.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits.Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.Training & DevelopmentIdentify training needs for ICU nursing staff.Conduct clinical coaching and competency assessments.Support continuous education and evidence-based practices.Operations & ReportingMonitor ICU supplies and equipment availability.Coordinate with biomedical and support departments when needed.Prepare operational and nursing reports.Monitor KPIs related to ICU nursing performance.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Nursing.Valid nursing license.ICU certification is preferred.ExperienceMinimum 5–7 years of nursing experience.Minimum 2–3 years in ICU supervisory or senior nursing role.Experience in accredited hospitals is preferred.Required SkillsStrong ICU clinical knowledge.Leadership and team management skills.Critical thinking and decision-making ability.Excellent communication skills.Crisis and emergency management.Knowledge of infection control standards.Ability to work under pressure.Employment TypeFull TimeRotational / Flexible shifts as per operational needs
