Egypt Education Platform is seeking a qualified and dynamic Arabic Head of Department (HOD) for the KG Stage at Madinaty Integrated Language School for Academic Year 2026-2027. This leadership position is based at GEMS Education Schools in Egypt and offers a unique opportunity to lead and develop the Arabic curriculum and teaching team at the KG level.Key Responsibilities:Lead, manage, and inspire the Arabic teaching team for the KG stage to deliver high-quality language educationDevelop, review, and enhance the Arabic curriculum and teaching resources to ensure alignment with educational standards and the developmental needs of KG studentsCoordinate and oversee lesson planning, assessment, and reporting processes within the departmentMentor, support, and provide professional development opportunities for teaching staffMonitor student progress and implement strategies to improve learning outcomesCollaborate with school leadership and other departments to foster a cohesive educational environmentEnsure compliance with safeguarding policies and contribute to maintaining a safe learning environmentRequirementsBachelor's degree in Arabic Language, Education, or a related field; a Master's degree is an advantageExtensive experience teaching Arabic, with significant experience at the KG or early years levelProven leadership experience in an educational setting, preferably as a Head of Department or team leaderStrong knowledge of Arabic language pedagogy and early childhood education principlesExcellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to inspire and motivate a team of educatorsFamiliarity with curriculum development and assessment strategiesCommitment to safeguarding and student well-beingSafeguarding Statement: The welfare and safety of our students is of utmost importance.
