Head Of Cost Accounting

Prepare and maintain accurate cost records for materials, labor, and overhead expenses.Collaborate with production and operations teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and inventory valuation.Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing detailed cost analysis and insights.Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.Prepare actual vs. plan (budget) analysis. Prepare various financial analyses related to manufacturing costs, inventory, and expense information for customers as needed to support decision-making.Set up new raw material, packaging, WIP, and FG items; create and maintain production BOMs; maintain periodic cost rolls/updates.Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports for management review.Analyzes changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services.provided, to determine effects on costs. Analyzes actual production costs and prepares periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.Prepares estimates of costs.Recommends cost efficiency in new product layouts.Provides management with reports that specify and compare factors affecting the prices and profitability of products. Minimum of 10 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within an agriculture, Poultry or manufacturing environmentProficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial data.
