Egypt Education Platform is seeking an experienced and dynamic Math Head of Department (HOD) for the Primary Stage at Madinaty Integrated Language School for the Academic Year 2026-2027. The successful candidate will lead and inspire the mathematics department, ensuring excellence in teaching and learning across the primary years, while aligning with the British Curriculum standards.Key Responsibilities:Provide strategic leadership and management of the primary mathematics departmentDevelop, review, and implement a high-quality mathematics curriculum that meets curriculum standards and promotes student achievementSupport, coach, and mentor math teachers to enhance instructional practices and professional growthMonitor and analyse student progress data to inform teaching strategies and interventionsLead the development and integration of innovative teaching methods and resources in mathematicsCoordinate assessment schedules, moderation, and reporting for the mathematics departmentOrganize professional development sessions related to mathematics teaching for department staffCollaborate with other academic leaders to ensure a cohesive and enriching learning environmentMaintain up-to-date knowledge of curriculum developments and best practices in mathematics educationRequirementsBachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related fieldQualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualificationMinimum 5 years of teaching experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or head of department role, preferably within the British CurriculumProven expertise and passion for teaching mathematics at the primary levelStrong leadership, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to inspire and motivate a team of educatorsFamiliarity with data-driven instructional practices and assessment strategiesCommitment to continuous professional development and educational excellenceWillingness to relocate to Cairo, Egypt if not localBenefitsTuition Discount for DependentsMedical Insurance for Self Transportation upon availability (Meeting Points)
