KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCommissioning Documentation DevelopmentLead the preparation and review of mechanical commissioning documentation including Commissioning Plans, Commissioning Specifications, method statements, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).Develop and standardise pre-functional checklists, functional performance test scripts, and integrated systems testing procedures for mechanical systems.Prepare and review mechanical design review reports aligned with Owner’s Project Requirements (OPR) and Basis of Design (BOD).Oversee the preparation of factory acceptance test (FAT) and site acceptance test (SAT) procedures and witness documentation.Support the development and review of O&M manuals for mechanical systems, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and alignment with as-built conditions.Technical Oversight & Quality AssuranceProvide technical leadership and quality oversight on all mechanical technical commissioning deliverables across CSI’s global project portfolio.Ensure all documentation meets CSI’s internal standards, client requirements, and applicable industry codes and standards.Conduct peer reviews of commissioning documentation prepared by project engineers and provide constructive technical feedback.Collaborate with the Quality Control & Training Division to maintain and improve documentation quality benchmarks. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEEducationBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).ExperienceMinimum 10 years of experience in MEP commissioning, building services, or related engineering fields.Minimum 5 years in a senior or lead role with direct responsibility for commissioning documentation and technical delivery.Demonstrated experience on large-scale, complex projects such as data centres, hospitality, mixed-use developments, or transportation facilities.International project experience is highly desirable.Certifications (Preferred)Commissioning Authority (CxA) – AABC/ACG or equivalent.NEBB Building Systems Commissioning (BSC) and/or Testing, Adjusting & Balancing (TAB).Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or equivalent.Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP) or equivalent (for data centre-focused candidates).Professional Engineer (PE/CEng) registration is a plus.KEY COMPETENCIESStrong technical writing and documentation skills with attention to detail and clarity.Ability to manage multiple project deliverables simultaneously across different time zones and project phases.Excellent coordination and communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.Structured, methodical approach to commissioning with a focus on quality, traceability, and compliance.Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to provide practical engineering solutions.Familiarity with digital commissioning tools, issue tracking systems, and collaborative project platforms.Commitment to continuous professional development and knowledge sharing.
