ROLE OVERVIEWPay10 is currently hiring a Head of Partnerships to join our growing business in Egypt.The Head of Partnerships is responsible for developing and managing the company’s strategic relationships with banks, key third-party providers, and institutional stakeholders to support business growth, market expansion, and operational readiness. The role leads the full partnership lifecycle, from opportunity identification and relationship development through negotiation, contracting, implementation follow-up, and ongoing performance management, with main KEY KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPartnership Strategy & DevelopmentDevelop and execute the company’s strategic partnerships roadmap in line with business growth objectives.Identify, assess, and prioritize new partnership opportunities with banks, financial institutions, and major third-party providers.Build and maintain a strong pipeline of high-value partnerships that support revenue growth, product expansion, and market positioning.•Monitor market developments and competitor activity to identify partnership opportunities and strategic gaps.Bank & Institutional PartnershipsLead engagement with partner banks and financial institutions for new commercial relationships, service arrangements, and business collaboration opportunities.Manage the end-to-end process for new bank partnerships, including internal alignment, partner discussions, commercial structuring, and follow-up until execution.Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key partner stakeholders to support long-term collaboration and business continuity.Commercial Negotiation & Agreement ManagementLead negotiations of commercial terms, service terms, SLAs, responsibilities, and operating models with banks and strategic third parties.Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Finance, Operations, Product, and Technology teams to finalize partnership agreements and ensure alignment with internal requirements.Ensure contracts are commercially sound, operationally practical, and compliant with internal governance and regulatory expectations.Support agreement renewals, amendments, and renegotiations where needed.Partner Relationship & Performance ManagementOversee the ongoing management of strategic partners, ensuring contractual obligations, deliverables, and SLA commitments are properly tracked.Conduct regular partnership reviews to assess performance, risks, service quality, and commercial value.Resolve or escalate issues affecting partnership delivery, implementation timelines, or service commitments.Recommend improvements, restructuring, or expansion opportunities based on partnership performance and business needs.Cross-Functional Coordination & ReportingAct as the central coordination point between external partners and internal stakeholders for partnership-related matters.Prepare regular updates for senior management on partnership pipeline, agreement status, regulatory follow-up, and key external dependencies.Establish and maintain trackers, partnership records, and reporting mechanisms for strategic partnerships and related obligations.QUALIFICATIONSEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Law, or a related field.7–12 years of relevant experience in strategic partnerships, business development, banking alliances, institutional relationship management, or commercial roles.Prior experience in fintech, payments, banking, financial services, or another regulated industry is strongly preferred.Proven experience negotiating complex commercial agreements and managing high-value external relationships.Strong exposure to bank partnerships, third-party negotiations, and cross-functional coordination.Experience dealing with regulatory bodies or supporting regulatory submissions is highly preferred. Technical SkillsStrong understanding of partnership structuring, commercial negotiation, and contract lifecycle management.Good knowledge of SLA frameworks, third-party partnership.Strong reporting, documentation, and presentation skills.Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and partnership tracking tools. Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with the Egyptian payments and fintech ecosystem.Experience working closely with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and senior leadership on external partnerships and regulatory alignment.Professional training or certification in negotiation, project management, or commercial management is a plus.
