With clear accountability for key outcomes across active driver growth and engagement, your work will directly shape marketplace reliability, earner experience, and fuel Uber's engine to win in one of the region's most dynamic and competitive environments.You will lead the Egypt supply team, and also serve as the market's strongest advocate for earners, influencing local, regional, and global stakeholders to ensure Uber remains the platform of choice for drivers and partners in Egypt.This role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, analytics, and cross-functional and cross-regional leadership. It requires a hybrid leader who can balance the street-smart grit needed to navigate complex local nuances with the strategic vision to design a multi-channel growth engine. If you are highly strategic, deeply analytical, commercially sharp, operationally rigorous, and able to get things done in complex, ambiguous environments, this role is for you.What You'll Do Own Egypt's supply strategy Define and drive the end-to-end supply strategy for Egypt, translating company and market priorities into a clear operating plan that delivers sustainable driver growth and stronger marketplace health. Own and drive the core supply outcomes Own the market's most important supply metrics, including Active Drivers, and overall driver growth. Diagnose performance, identify structural gaps, and make the right strategic and operational trade-offs to deliver results. Lead execution through a high-performing team Lead and develop a strong team with clear priorities, high standards, and a strong bias for action. Create operating rhythms that ensure rigorous execution, accountability, and continuous improvement. Lead through influence across functions Partner closely with Marketplace, various cross-functional, regional and global teams, and regional leadership. Align stakeholders around priorities, mobilize resources, and drive cross-functional execution on the market's most important supply challenges. Champion the earner experience Be the voice of drivers, acquisition partners, and fleet operators in Egypt. Build a deep understanding of their needs, economics, and pain points, and ensure these insights shape strategy, process, and priorities. Use data to drive judgment and action Bring rigor to decision-making through structured analysis, strong business judgment, and clear prioritization. Move fluidly between deep dives and executive-level synthesis. What You'll Need 7+ years of experience in strategy, operations, marketplace businesses, technology, or other fast-paced, high-performance environments Proven track record of building strategy and leading execution against growth, operational, or marketplace goals Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn ambiguity into clear priorities, structured plans, and measurable results Strong people leadership experience, with a track record of building, developing, and raising the bar on teams Strong commercial and business judgment, with experience managing budgets and the ability to balance short-term execution with long-term strategic value creation Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across levels, functions, and geographies Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong understanding of Egypt's operating environment and the ability to translate local market realities into practical, scalable strategies Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Business, or a similarly rigorous field Experience in two-sided marketplaces or mobility Experience working closely with external partners and central teams to advocate for market-specific needs SQL or strong comfort working with data tools is a plus
