The Health and Safety Engineer at Nawy Real Estate is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety programs to ensure a safe working environment across all company projects and operations. This role involves identifying hazards, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with local and international safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: Develop and enforce health and safety policies, procedures, and standards in alignment with regulatory requirements. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of construction sites and facilities to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance. Perform risk assessments and implement control measures to mitigate identified safety risks. Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Provide health and safety training and awareness programs to employees, subcontractors, and site personnel. Monitor adherence to safety regulations and conduct periodic reviews to update safety management systems. Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety considerations into project planning and execution. Stay updated with industry safety standards, laws, and best practices to enhance the company’s safety culture. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in health and safety engineering, preferably within construction or real estate development. Strong knowledge of local and international health and safety regulations and standards. Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is highly desirable. Excellent risk assessment and incident investigation skills. Effective communication and training skills. Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
