Main Purpose:With technical support from the HP Manager Mission and in close collaboration with the medical team and Implementation Partner, implement health promotion and community engagement activities targeting patients and caretakers to improve their knowledge and skills on relevant medical topics.To facilitate clinic activities for Health promotion component with communication via hotline, conduct patient survey and collect patient feedback, track follow-up and defaulters.Accountabilities:Inform patients and caretakers about MSF-Implementation partner and services it provides.   According to medical priorities, deliver information to the patients and caretakers on specific health topics.  Implement activities of health education and awareness in the clinic, under the indications and supervision of the Medical Activity Manager.  Under the guide of HP Manager, assess the impact of activities (with questions, verifications and behaviors observations), and report problems, success and constraints to him/her.  Collect all type of information related to specific health and living conditions of the population, in particular to identify the most vulnerable populations to target.  Report to HP Nurse Referent: activities, problems met, strengths and constraints.  Establish and maintain contacts with social partners, including other NGO’s, governmental health services that can provide answers to social problems.  Keep education and communication areas clean and tidy and professional materials available.  Participate in creation of any material needed for the activities of information, education and communication.Specific Accountabilities:In close collaboration with the HP Activities Manager, ensure monitoring of HP activities, results, and achievements through defined indicators. Support the HP Activities Manager in conducting assessments and operational research (e.g., FGDs, surveys) to evaluate the impact of activities and identify constraints, challenges, and strengths to reinforce the link between the communities and the project. Participate in the development and adaptation of HP materials, ensuring they are culturally appropriate and aligned with project objectives. Collaborate and network with community stakeholders, CBOs, and representatives from different nationalities, fostering trust and facilitating two-way information flow. To facilitate clinic activities for Health promotion/CE component with communication via hotline, conduct patient survey and collect patient feedback, track follow-up and defaulters, Participate in MSF’s external communication strategy, ensuring clear, culturally sensitive, and consistent messaging is delivered by volunteers in clinics and community settings. Contribute to maximizing the impact of HP messages through diverse communication channels (digital health promotion, group discussions, leaflets, handouts, social media, etc.). Follow-up volunteers in planning and organizing their daily work, ensuring implementation of high-quality HP activities. Provide regular coaching, shadowing, and on-site mentoring, offering constructive feedback to strengthen performance. Lead or support training sessions for volunteers based on identified gaps and program needs. Ensure accurate collection of volunteer activity reports and the timely submission of completed timesheets to the HR department. Ensure accurate reporting of HP activities, achievements, challenges, and community insights to the HP Activities Manager. Collect, analyze, and share with the medical team any relevant information related to the health situation of the population, community dynamics, or emerging concerns.  EducationUniversity degree in social science, social communication, nursing, teaching, Anthropologist or Public Health  ExperiencePreferable previous experience in teaching, nursing or social work, community mobilization.Essential working experience (1 year minimum) in health promotion with community activities, or training-education activities.
