• Provide leadership for the Environment, Health & Safety Program across the plant.• Maintain and build a high standard of safety to prevent accidents, injuries, and work-related illness in the workplace.• Follow policies and procedures to ensure business activities within the manufacturing comply with the legal requirements of the country in which operations are conducted.• Manage the plant EHS program ensuring that areas of risk are identified.• Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to minimize risk.• Reporting, Investigating, and carrying out root cause analysis along with the team member for incidents, near misses, etc to avoid repetition.• Provide hands-on shop floor training. Qualifications & ExperienceEducationBachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are highly desirable.ExperienceMinimum 8–10 years of experience in HSE roles within manufacturing or industrial environments, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.Proven track record in implementing HSE management systems and driving cultural change.Technical SkillsStrong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards.Experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and root cause analysis.Familiarity with sustainability initiatives and environmental compliance.Core CompetenciesLeadership and influencing skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management.Analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to train and develop teams effectively.
