Design and develop HVAC systems for residential, commercial, industrial, and hospitality projects in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.Prepare detailed HVAC layouts, schematics, and calculations using CAD and relevant design software.Conduct load calculations, equipment selection, and ductwork sizing to ensure optimal system performance and energy efficiency.Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate HVAC systems seamlessly into overall building designs.Review and interpret project specifications, drawings, and technical documents to ensure compliance with client requirements and regulatory codes.Oversee the preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ), technical submittals, and material specifications for HVAC components.Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting phases to ensure successful project delivery.Coordinate with procurement and construction teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of HVAC equipment and materials.Participate in site visits and inspections to verify installation quality and adherence to design intent.Stay updated with the latest advancements in HVAC technologies, sustainability practices, and industry regulations. Minimum of 6 years of proven experience in HVAC design engineering, preferably within the construction or engineering sector.Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles, load calculations, and equipment selection.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other HVAC design software.Familiarity with international and local HVAC codes and standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, etc.).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.Experience preparing technical documentation, BOQs, and material submittals.Demonstrated ability to conduct site visits and provide technical support during installation and commissioning.Commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of industry trends.
