The teacher will plan, deliver, and assess engaging IGCSE English lessons that develop students’ reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in alignment with curriculum standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson materials, differentiating instruction for diverse learning needs, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records of student progress. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues and families to support individualized learning, contribute to project-based and creative activities, and foster a classroom environment that reflects the school’s holistic and child-centered approach. Additional tasks include participating in staff meetings, professional development, and school events as needed.QualificationsStrong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with experience delivering IGCSE or equivalent secondary-level English curriculum.Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Education practices, including differentiated instruction and student-centered methodologies.Excellent Communication skills for working with students, families, and colleagues in a collaborative and inclusive environment.Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field; teaching certification or relevant pedagogical training is highly beneficial.Experience or interest in holistic, play-based, and project-based learning, ideally within Reggio Emilia–inspired or similar alternative education settings.Ability to create a supportive, culturally responsive classroom, manage behavior positively, and promote emotional intelligence and problem-solving.Commitment to ongoing professional development and openness to reflective practice and innovation in teaching.Fluency in English; additional language skills and prior international or microschool experience are a plus.
