Infection Control Specialist

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:• Implements departmental goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.• Daily rounds for auditing infection control practices throughout the hospital and documenting observations related to the causes of infection.• Develop audit tools to evaluate infection prevention practices.• Develop infection control policies and procedures and work instructions throughout the hospital that ensures compliance with the guidelines.• Analysis and interpretation of collected infection control data.• Investigation and surveillance of suspected outbreaks of infection.• Planning, implementation, and evaluation of infection prevention and control measures.• Monitor staff vaccination process and other occupational health-related issues.  Job Requirements:• BSC Degree in any medical background (Physician, Pharmacist, Dental, or Nursing).• Post-graduate diploma in Infection Control is a Must.• At least 3 years of work experience in the same field are required.• Excellent Communication, problem solving and time management skills.
