Description: Responsible for preparing and reviewing the periodic ALM reports, analysis and presentations while ensuring the proactive and effective management of the bank balance sheet. Main job objective is to mitigate the different financial risks facing the bank related to interest rates as well as maintaining and updating the bank FTP in line with the mandated business strategy. Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Prepare and monitor all the relevant periodic reports covering IRRBB. 2. Responsible for preparing and monitoring EvE, EaR & Pv01 indicators and support in designing the investment program proposals. 3. Follow up on Bank's investment/hedging programs and participate in the execution of those programs 4. Ensure continues maintenance of risk models, assumptions and limits related to Interest rate risk and FTP management. 5. Obtain necessary financial, commercial information and data to accomplish the reporting/modelling needs from concerned departments/branches. 6. Ensure that all relevant regulatory and internal limits and thresholds are being respected. 7. Provide Risk unit with the IRRBB positions and commentary regarding evolution which is inherited in the risk committee memo. 8. Prepare all the relevant manuals and assure that they are up to date. 9. Responsible for periodic update of the Yield Curve and FTP. 10. Provide network with FTP guides to support them in estimating their profitability before booking of the deal. 11. Act as primary consultant for network for their profitably calculation of their deals. 12. Identify the pricing method of each product within the Management Information System. 13. Upload the FTP curves to OFSA which enable the business lines know their profitability after execution of deal. 14. Maintain an adequate data base covering market rates and new issuances of relevant debt instruments. 15. Responsible for the revaluation of the investments and IRS. 16. Support in the IRR and pillar 2 risks within the internal capital adequacy assessment process (ICAAP) 17. Prepare and analyse stress tests results and identify actions to be taken while considering its implication. 18. Support in preparing the ALCO reports and slides related to IRRBB and FTP. 19. Maintain the ALCO registry and the Audit trail of assumptions and rates changes, limits, notifications, and risk positions. 20. Prepare slides related to QNB which is sent to the group and are inherited in the group GALCO. 21. Support in preparing a monthly newsletter covering the latest macroeconomic updates and outlook which is circulated to ALCO members. 22. Adopt all policies and procedures in order to guarantee that QNB is in compliance with the CBE, Basel and internal policy requirements for IRRBB.23. Ensure the correct functioning and implementation of the Permanent Supervision, Compliance and Money Laundering, Operational Risk, and Workplace Success Guidelines whenever and wherever possible.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting or Finance is required with a preference for studying CFA and/or FRM.Experience:Fresh graduate or maximum two years of experience in a related field.Skills:Excellent presentation skills.High analytic skillsStrong communication skills and ability to be diplomatic in challenging situations.Ability to develop and maintain financial forecasting models, including documentation of critical processes and back-testing results, is critical.Familiarity with various asset, liability and capital instruments, derivatives, and structured investments.Strong attention to details.Team-first approach.Fluency in Arabic and English written/spokenAdvanced knowledge in Microsoft officeWorking Conditions:Based in the Head OfficeRelatively long working hours especially during quarterly or monthly deadlines, dynamic working requirements and conditions
