Budgets and Plans: Contribute to the preparation of the Internal Audit section budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues and areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified.Policies, Systems, Processes, & Procedures: Implement approved departmental policies, processes, procedures and instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.Day- to-day Operations: Supervises the day-to-day operations of Internal Audit function to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures. Assist in conducting the annual risk assessment exercise to identify risks and controls in place for the audit plan preparation purposes.Help in the preparation of the audit universe and annual audit plan.Conducting operational, financial and compliance audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls.Obtain analyses and appraises audit evidence as a basis for an informed, independent, and objective opinion concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls within the audit scope.Preparing Commencement letter. Conduct Kick-Off meeting with key personnel of the audited area to communicate the scope of work.Obtaining information relating to Business Process Understanding.Developing Audit program and performing audit steps as part of fieldwork. Identify areas of enhancement in control environment and suggest corrective actions.Prepare working papers for review by the IA Senior Manager and collect reliable evidence to ensure completeness, correctness, valuation, classification etc.Develop and discuss findings, recommendations, and timelines for corrective action with concerned stakeholders. Prepare draft audit report including audit findings with Management comments/action plans for review by IA Senior Manager.Operate GRC software Archer and document all activities to EWP (Electronic Work Paper) in Archer including creating project and linking risk and issues and incorporating recommendations and management comments and timeline. Monitor the timely implementation of the management actions recommended in the audit reports with timely follow-up with the Management team concerned.Preparing Dashboard summary for the high risk identified observations.Regular review of updated status of actual versus target plan with continuous update for any showstopper to the IA Senior Manager.Incorporate contact information of each process owner in the PU Master file.Conduct thorough research to obtain best practices and benchmarks to be a proper base for evaluating the existing businesses policies and procedures.Assisting IA Senior Manager in performing Value Addition Task.Assisting IA Senior Manager in preparing year end audit plan completion report/statistics and analysis for AC and CEO reporting.Build and maintain strong relationships with the business owners and help the Internal Audit function become a trusted advisor and be seen as a core part of the business.Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.Reporting: Prepare reports timely and accurately to meet Savola and Internal Audit department requirements, policies and standards.Health, Safety, & Environment: Monitor the adherence to all relevant safety and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.Related Assignments: Perform other related duties or assignments as directed. Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.Language: Excellent command of English.Skills: Excellent communication and report writing skills & CIA and/or CPA (preferred).Strong knowledge of internal audit practices, risk assessment, and internal controls.
