Role SummaryAs Internal Audit Manager at Yourparts, you will lead and manage the internal audit function to provide independent, objective assurance and consulting services. You will assess and improve the effectiveness of risk management, internal controls, governance, and compliance across operations, commercial activities, finance, procurement, logistics, and technology systems.You will manage the annual audit plan, lead audit engagements end-to-end, coordinate with senior stakeholders, and ensure audit outcomes translate into practical risk mitigation and control improvements.Key Responsibilities1) Audit Planning & DeliveryOwn the risk-based annual audit plan, ensuring coverage across key business processes and geographies.Manage the end-to-end execution of audit engagements: planning, fieldwork, issue validation, and reporting.Deliver audits in line with relevant standards and agreed methodologies (e.g., IIA/ISA alignment where applicable).Perform follow-up on audit findings and track implementation status until closure.2) Risk, Controls & AssuranceEvaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls across:Financial reporting and close processesPurchase-to-pay and vendor managementSales-to-cash, credit control, and returnsInventory controls (including cycle counts, movement, and shrinkage)Logistics and warehousing controlsRevenue recognition and billing accuracyFraud risk and whistleblowing-related controlsIT controls, data access, and system change management (in coordination with IT/security teams)Identify control gaps, quantify/assess risk impact, and recommend improvements.3) Governance, Compliance & Internal ControlsReview compliance with applicable policies, regulatory obligations, and internal procedures.Support the business with consulting projects when requested (e.g., control enhancement, process improvement).Assist leadership in strengthening governance practices and control maturity.4) Team Leadership & Function ManagementManage and develop internal audit resources (and/or co-source partners if applicable).Ensure quality assurance in work papers, documentation, and audit reporting.Mentor stakeholders on internal controls and audit findings interpretation.5) Stakeholder Management & ReportingPresent audit results to senior management and/or the Audit Committee, clearly explaining:Root causesRisk exposureSeverity/ranking of findingsPractical and prioritized remediation actionsMaintain strong relationships with process owners and finance/commercial/operations leadership. equirements / QualificationsEducation & Professional CredentialsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.Preferably CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certifications.Strong working knowledge of audit methodologies and risk-based auditing.Experience[5–8] years of progressive experience in internal audit, external audit, or risk/compliance roles.[2+] years in a lead/manager capacity (or demonstrated leadership of audit engagements).Experience auditing retail/wholesale/e-commerce, automotive/parts, logistics/warehousing, or SaaS/technology-enabled operations is a plus.Experience with internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO) is strongly preferred.Technical SkillsStrong understanding of:Internal controls (financial + operational)Risk assessment and audit planningAudit testing and workpaper documentationFraud risk indicators and investigative mindsetProficiency in Excel and audit data analysis; familiarity with audit software/ERP environments is a plus.Soft SkillsExcellent written and verbal communication.Ability to challenge constructively and influence senior stakeholders.High ownership, strong integrity, and attention to detail.
