Key Accountabilities System Monitoring: Implement and manage monitoring solutions to ensure the continuous availability and performance of IT systems Incident Management: Identify, diagnose, and resolve IT incidents to minimize downtime and impact on business operations Performance Analysis: Analyze system performance data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement Reporting: Generate regular reports on system performance, incidents, and improvements for management and stakeholders Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams and other departments to support business operations and projects Compliance and Security: Ensure monitoring practices comply with relevant regulations and standards, and implement security measures to protect organizational data Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance monitoring and IT service deliveryQualifications, Experience & Skills Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA) are a plus Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT operations or monitoring Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of IT monitoring tools and technologies, including network, server, and application monitoring. Proficiency in IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Project Management: Experience in managing IT projects, including planning, execution, and delivery Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teamsCompetencies Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing business needs and technological advancements Customer Focus: Commitment to delivering high-quality IT services that meet the needs of internal and external customers Initiative: Proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues and opportunities for improvement
