Develop, implement, and evaluate IT projects aligned with organizational objectives. Liaise with cross-functional departments to determine and address IT needs and requirements. Build and maintain the IT service catalog in collaboration with IT leadership. Recommend, establish, and support systems-related policies, procedures, and standards. Identify problematic areas and implement timely, strategic solutions. Manage IT inventory and assets. Develop and manage the annual budget to ensure cost-effectiveness. Support project management for implementing network, telecommunications, and endpoint systems initiatives. Ensure adherence to technical delivery quality standards and facilitate smooth transition into operations for all assigned projects. Implement efficient techniques and high-quality standards to fulfill business requirements. Coordinate with project management to establish processes for successful solution delivery. Lead the implementation of solutions, overseeing subcontractor/partner involvement.As IT Operations Director, You Need… Post-secondary schooling preferred. 3–5 years of experience in IT leadership, including managing teams, projects, and strategic initiatives. Deep technical expertise in network, infrastructure, and IT, including strong proficiency in CCNP/CCNA concepts. Demonstrated success in IT governance, policy development, and standards enforcement. Financial acumen in managing annual IT budgets and ensuring cost-effectiveness. Strategic leadership skills to guide teams and align IT initiatives with core business objectives. Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication to address departmental IT needs. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills for the timely implementation of strategic solutions. Excellent communication skills (listening, verbal, and written) with the ability to communicate with various positions and departments. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
