Junior Purchasing / Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a motivated Junior Purchasing / Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team . This entry-level position is designed for individuals looking to start their career, with a focus on procurement processes that support our projects and enhance operational efficiency.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the procurement of materials and services required for construction projects.Support the purchasing team in vendor selection and negotiation processes.Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supplier information.Collaborate with project managers to understand material requirements and timelines.Help track inventory levels and reordering processes to ensure timely supply of materials.Assist in analyzing market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities.Contribute to the preparation of purchase orders and contracts.Ensuring compliance with company policies and best practices during the purchasing process.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering .Experience in procurement or supply chain management is a plus but not required.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and procurement software.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Knowledge of construction materials and industry standards is advantageous.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
