Publication date : May 14, 2026, 8:21AMPurpose of the jobMonitor the switches' & IMS performance indicators to achieve best quality of service & study the new technologies/services related to the Core Network elements.Duties and responsibilitiesFollow up on the capacity utilization over the switches & the IMS and highlight on the highly utilized entities ; so that the core switching & IMS supervisor take the appropriate action.Monitor the Switches KPIs as well as the IMS and issue a weekly report with the corresponding utilization statusSend the daily report for all voice core nodes, showing the main KPIs and highlight the nodes which exceeded the set threshold. Follow the corrective action plans until the issue is solved. Send the global network capacity growth plan to the concerned teams (Core Switching & IMS, Transmission & BSS, production, & VAS) to plan the requirements each from his side.Apply the new technologies and services related to the Core Network.Interface with the BSS team in order to fulfill the BSS team requirements over the switches.Interface with the B2B, B2C, & EPC teams for the IMS related requirements.Act as Project manager for the extensions on the switches (Huawei)Follow up on the projects' progress (according to the project plan developed by the project manager), for the validation and testing of new services/features on the switches with all the teams (Orange skill center team, VAS, IN, ), and issue weekly progress report to the project manager to take the required actionExecute the project plan for the SW upgrade project over the Core Network switches(Huawei), according to the project plan developed by the project manager.Issue a weekly progress report for the management with the status of the running projects and studies.Job specificationEducationB.Sc. in Communication EngineeringExperience1-3 years of Experience in telecommunicationSkills and abilitiesFluent English both spoken and writtenVery good computer skillsExcellent communication and presentation skills.Quick learner with abilty to search for new ideas.
