The Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for building and qualifying a pipeline of prospective customers by identifying target accounts, sourcing decision-maker contacts, executing outbound outreach (cold calls and emails), and arranging introductory meetings for the sales team. The role requires strong research skills, persistence, and disciplined follow-up to convert prospects into qualified leads.Key ResponsibilitiesLead & Prospect GenerationIdentify and research target companies and potential buyers aligned with the organization’s ideal customer profile (ICP).Build and maintain a consistent flow of new prospects to support sales pipeline targets.Contact Identification & Data EnrichmentLocate and verify relevant stakeholders (e.g., CIO, IT Manager, Head of Infrastructure, Security Manager) using approved tools and sources.Maintain accurate contact details (name, title, email, phone, LinkedIn, company data) and ensure data quality.Outbound Outreach (Cold Calling & Emailing)Conduct cold calls and send outbound emails to introduce the company’s solutions and initiate conversations.Secure introductory meetings with qualified prospects and hand off opportunities to the appropriate salesperson/account manager.Lead Follow-Up & NurturingFollow up systematically with leads to increase response rates and move prospects through early funnel stages.Maintain a structured cadence (calls/emails/LinkedIn touches where applicable) until disposition is reached (qualified, not interested, nurture, invalid).
