The Lead Procurement Engineer will oversee the end-to-end procurement cycle for engineering and healthcare facility projects, including sourcing, evaluating, and selecting suppliers for equipment, materials, and services. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing RFQs and RFPs, analyzing technical and commercial offers, negotiating terms and pricing, and issuing purchase orders in alignment with project budgets and timelines. The role involves close coordination with engineering, construction, maintenance, and finance teams to ensure specifications are met, delivery schedules are respected, and quality standards are maintained. The Lead Procurement Engineer will monitor vendor performance, maintain accurate procurement documentation and reports, support cost-saving initiatives, and ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.Qualifications Strong experience in engineering procurement, including sourcing, supplier evaluation, and vendor management for construction and healthcare-related projects.Proficiency in preparing and reviewing RFQs/RFPs, commercial and technical bid analysis, contract terms, and purchase orders.Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, or biomedical systems and materials commonly used in healthcare facilities.Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, track costs, and support cost-optimization and value-engineering initiatives.Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners.Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on meeting deadlines.Experience with ERP or procurement management systems and proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word).Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field); advanced studies in supply chain, procurement, or project management are an advantage.Previous experience in healthcare, construction, or facilities engineering environments is highly desirable.Ability to work on-site in Cairo and support multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
