The opportunityWe are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales and Accounts Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for Hitachi Energy sales activities in the allocated segments (Utility, Energy T&D) and ensuring achievement of the yearly assigned sales budget for the regionHow You’ll Make An ImpactBuilding and nurturing long-term relationships with assigned accountsUnderstanding the evaluation and decision-making process of the assigned accounts and strategically position Hitachi Energy ahead of the competitionIdentifying, creating, and maintaining a robust opportunity pipeline in Salesforce that supports the overall business sales targetsSupporting Account Managers in maximizing the value of their accounts and increasing account penetration and providing training or communication inputs to Account Managers.Creating sales plans for product or solution and works through Account Managers, Pre-Sales, Partners, or other sales teams to implement them.May have direct ownership of some single-product clients, especially smaller non-named accounts.Understanding how the product/ solution fits within the broader company portfolio, solution, or customer environment.Supporting as a subject matter expert in job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.Responsibilities typically include managing large projects/Accounts or processes with limited oversight from manager.You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.Living Hitachi Energy’s core values safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.Your background A bachelor’s degree in electrical or power engineering.Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience in energy industry, sales and account management.Proficiency in both spoken & written English is required.Hitachi Energy is a global technology leader in electrification, powering a sustainable energy future through innovative power grid technologies with digital at the core.
