Westview International Language School is seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Disabilities Teacher (LDD) for the academic year 2026-2027. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting students with learning disabilities to achieve their full potential through tailored instruction and collaboration with educators, parents, and specialists. Key Responsibilities: Assess and identify the learning needs of students with learning disabilities. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) that address students' unique challenges and goals. Provide specialized teaching and support that promote academic progress and social-emotional development. Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate effective strategies and accommodations into mainstream classrooms. Maintain detailed records on student progress and adjust instructional approaches as needed. Engage with parents and caregivers to foster collaboration and support for students' learning journeys. Participate in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices in special education. Minimum of 2 years teaching experience specifically supporting students with learning disabilities. Strong knowledge of learning disabilities and evidence-based teaching strategies. Experience developing and implementing IEPs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and staff. Patience, empathy, and dedication to supporting diverse learners. Relevant teaching certification or specialization in learning disabilities is a plus.
