# Job Description – Legal Officer## Position Title:Legal Officer## Job Summary:The Legal Officer is responsible for providing legal support to the company by ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, drafting and reviewing contracts, managing legal documentation, and supporting the company's legal and business operations.## Key Responsibilities:- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents.- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.- Provide legal advice and support to management and various departments.- Manage legal documentation, records, and correspondence.- Coordinate with external legal counsel when required.- Handle legal disputes, claims, and litigation matters.- Review company policies and procedures from a legal perspective.- Conduct legal research and prepare legal reports and opinions.- Support corporate governance and regulatory filings.- Identify legal risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.## Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Law.- Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in legal affairs or corporate legal practice.- Strong knowledge of corporate, commercial, and labor laws.- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.## Skills:- Contract Drafting & Review- Legal Research & Analysis- Regulatory Compliance- Negotiation Skills- Risk Assessment- Attention to Detail- Problem Solving- Time Management- Communication Skills## Tools:- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)- Microsoft Outlook- Adobe Acrobat Pro- Document Management Systems (DMS)- Legal Research Platforms- Contract Management Softwa
