Lifting Equipment Inspector

Lifting Inspection & NDT EngineerConduct inspection, examination, and certification of lifting equipment and lifting accessories in accordance with applicable international standards and regulations.Perform periodic inspections for cranes, hoists, chain blocks, wire ropes, shackles, hooks, lifting beams, webbing slings, and other lifting gears.Carry out load testing and witness load tests for lifting equipment when required.Review equipment documentation, maintenance records, certificates, and inspection reports.Prepare detailed inspection reports and recommendations regarding equipment integrity and operational safety.Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities, including Visual Testing (VT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement (UTM) as applicable.Assess equipment condition and identify defects, wear, corrosion, deformation, and other integrity concerns.Witness inspection, testing, and calibration activities according to client requirements and project specifications.Ensure compliance with relevant standards, company procedures, and HSE requirements.Coordinate with clients, contractors, and operations teams to ensure safe and efficient execution of inspection activities.Support risk reduction by verifying the safety and reliability of lifting operations and critical equipment.Key Skills:Lifting Equipment InspectionLifting Gear ExaminationLoad Testing & WitnessingNDT (VT, PT, MT, UTM)Technical ReportingHSE ComplianceEquipment CertificationAsset Integrity Management
