We are looking for a skilled Linux OS Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of Linux-based systems, ensuring their optimal performance, security, and availability. The ideal candidate has strong experience managing enterprise Linux environments, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team. Private Health Insurance Training & Development Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, or similar). Perform system monitoring, tuning, and performance optimization tasks. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls. Ensure security best practices are implemented, including patch management and vulnerability mitigation. Automate routine tasks using shell scripting or configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet). Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues related to Linux servers. Manage backup and disaster recovery procedures. Monitor system logs and respond to alerts promptly. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and support applications on Linux platforms. Maintain up-to-date documentation of system configurations and procedures. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in Linux system administration. Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and file systems. Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.). Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls). Experience with virtualization and cloud platforms is a plus. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Relevant certifications (RHCSA, RHCE, CompTIA Linux+) are preferred.
